A three-week international summer program primarily designed for children and young students, combining cultural exchange, student activities, community experiences, nature, outdoor education, creativity, sports, teamwork and friendship.

PART 01

Kathmandu · Welcome & Orientation

Days 1–4

The program begins in Kathmandu with arrival, orientation, student introductions and the first cultural and educational activities.

Day 1 — Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival at Kathmandu airport, group meeting, airport pickup, transfer to accommodation, check-in, rest and welcome dinner.

Day 2 — Welcome & Student Orientation

Official program welcome, student introductions, group rules, safety briefing, team building and introduction to the three-week journey.

Day 3 — Boudhanath & Community Experience

Visit the Boudhanath area with guided cultural activities, community experience, photography, student observation and group assignments.

Day 4 — Language & Communication Day

Language and communication activities, student workshops, teamwork exercises and practical group learning.

PART 02

Kathmandu Valley · Arts & Student Activities

Days 5–7
Day 5 — Patan Arts & Creativity

Creative learning day with local arts, crafts, drawing, photography and student creative workshops.

Day 6 — Bhaktapur Cultural Excursion

Full-day excursion to Bhaktapur with cultural observation, community activities, photography and student group assignments.

Day 7 — Sports & Teamwork

Sports, games, outdoor activities and group challenges focused on teamwork, communication and friendship.

PART 03

Pokhara

Days 8–14 · 7 Days

The Pokhara section focuses on nature, outdoor education, community experiences, student workshops, creativity and recreation.

Day 8 — Kathmandu → Pokhara

Travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara, accommodation check-in, rest and local orientation.

Day 9 — Pokhara Nature Day

Nature excursion with outdoor education, environmental observation, photography and student group activities.

Day 10 — Student Workshop Day

Language activities, communication exercises, creative workshops and teamwork activities.

Day 11 — Community & Student Exchange

Community experience, student interaction, communication activities, games and friendship-building activities.

Day 12 — Nature & Outdoor Education

Full-day nature excursion with environmental learning, outdoor activities, photography and supervised group exploration.

Day 13 — Creative Project Day

Arts, creativity, photography, teamwork and development of student group projects.

Day 14 — Recreation & Rest Day

A lighter day with recreation, sports, supervised free time, group games and rest.

PART 04

Return to Kathmandu

Days 15–18
Day 15 — Pokhara → Kathmandu

Return journey to Kathmandu, accommodation check-in, rest and evening group reflection.

Day 16 — Student Exchange Day

Student exchange, communication activities, teamwork, games and opportunities to build international friendships.

Day 17 — Language, Arts & Culture

Language activities, arts, music, creative workshops and cultural exchange activities.

Day 18 — Sports & Group Challenge

Sports day with team competitions, outdoor activities, games and student group challenges.

PART 05

Projects, Closing & Departure

Days 19–21
Day 19 — Student Project Day

Students prepare their final projects using photographs, artwork, writing and experiences collected throughout the summer camp.

Day 20 — Closing Ceremony & Farewell

Final student presentations, group reflection, certificate presentation, closing ceremony and farewell dinner.

Day 21 — Departure

Accommodation check-out, airport transfer and departure from Kathmandu. End of the Kelsang Metok Nepal Summer Camp 2027.

PARTICIPATION

Who Can Join?

Nepal Summer Camp 2027 is primarily designed for children and young students from Europe. Students from the United States and other countries are also welcome to apply.

Children & Students

The main educational and activity program is designed for children and young students. Participants take part in cultural activities, nature experiences, student exchange, creative workshops, sports and teamwork.

Family Participation

For every two children registered from the same family, one parent, guardian or adult family member may join as an accompanying participant, subject to availability.

INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS

Europe, USA & Other Countries

The program is mainly organized for students living in Europe. Students from the USA and other countries may also participate.

International Flights Are Not Included

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own international flights to and from Kathmandu. Kelsang Metok will provide the designated arrival and departure information before the program.

Nepal Summer Camp 2027 — Program Fee

The final Nepal Summer Camp price will be confirmed after accommodation, meals, local transportation, activities and group service arrangements are finalized.
